Green-minded residents of Somerset Gardens, Tottenham, have urged the council to provide them with better recycling facilities.
Justin Hinchcliffe, a resident and local Conservative campaigner, has ontacted the council after residents approached him. He said, "It's bizarre that the council seems to limit recycling to just houses and bungalows. People living in flats want the opportunity to recycle. No wonder the council has missed its recycling targets."
The council has now pledged to investigate the possibility of providing the 270 flats with either green boxes or a recycling 'bank'
