Justin Hinchcliffe, Deputy Chairman of Tottenham Conservatives, has written to Sainsburys bosses to urge them to modernise its Tottenham branch on the High Road,N17.
In a letter to the Head Office, Mr Hinchcliffe wrote:
Your Tottenham branch desperately needs modernising. The store is a throwback to the 1970s and choice is limited. The store will do well if some money is spent on it and choice is extended. Do you have any plans to modernise it? If so, when?
Justin Hinchcliffe pointed out how Sainsburys recently splashed out millions of pounds upgrading its Muswell Hill branch but has ignored its Tottenham branch.
Local people back me in this campaign. I have my fingers crossed, he added.
