Tottenham's William MacDougall exposes Lammy's controversial voting record as General Election nears 29/06/04

Local Tories condemn Blair's 'Yes-Man' Lammy as General Election nears.

New research confirms that Tottenham's Labour MP David Lammy is still Tony Blair's 'Yes-Man'.  In fourteen recent votes in which brave Labour MPs rebelled against the discredited New Labour government, Lammy voted with Blair twelve times - and made himself scarce for the other 2 votes!

Lammy's main Conservative challenger William MacDougall said, "As Tottenham's MP, I would always vote according to my conscience.  I would for example have voted against the Iraq War.  In contrast, Lammy slavishly backs his boss, Blair, right or wrong. We’ll be exposing Lammy’s controversial voting record, so that people can vote accordingly in the forthcoming General Election.”
