Tottenham Conservatives today backed up their claim to be the effective opposition in the area, by issuing over 100 press releases all on local issues in less than a year! And, buoyed up by a surge in their membership since Michael Howard became Leader, local Tories expect to make history and outpoll Labour in the Tottenham seat in Junes elections.
Justin Hinchcliffe, a Deputy Chairman of Tottenham Conservatives, said:
This is yet more evidence that we are the effective and indeed the only opposition to our dreadful Labour Council. The Lib Dems only care for the west of the Borough and have no interest in Tottenham. Everyone knows that the Lib Dems cant win here and Labour dont deserve to.
We fully expect to outpoll Labour in this constituency in Junes elections. More and more people are telling us that theyve had enough of our dreadful Labour Council and 'fatcat'MP. To borrow a phrase, bring it on!
