Senior Haringey Conservative and London MEP in Russia supporting British exports:
Dr. Charles Tannock, a Conservative Member of the European Parliament for London, and William MacDougall, former Haringey councillor and current Deputy Chairman of Tottenham Conservatives, were in Russia last week promoting British exports, visiting St. Petersburg and Moscow.
Dr. Charles Tannock MEP explained:
"Russia offers to Britain and our EU partners one of the largest and growing investment opportunities to business and already we have witnessed the renewed UK interest of BP in Oil exploration in the Russian Far East. It is also important to offer western political support to this young democracy, particularly in the common fight against organised crime and international terrorism."
