Tottenham Conservatives put Lammy on-line!

Tottenham Labour MP David Lammy has been named and shamed by Tottenham Conservatives for not having an e-mail address. The Labour MP joins the dubious company of Robert Mugabe and Fidel Castro who refuse to communicate with the public online.

The failure of David Lammy to live up to New Labour's rhetoric on e-government was uncovered by Justin Hinchcliffe, Tottenham Conservatives Deputy Chairman (Media).

Said Justin Hinchcliffe: You would expect David Lammy to have an e-mail address so that his constituents can contact him with queries and suggestions  its not as if we are asking him for his home phone number! David Lammy has been an MP since June 2000, which means hes had three years to sort this out.

To save David Lammy further embarrassment, we have set up an email address for him to use in the interim until an official email address is available. The email address is: DavidLammyMP@hotmail.com."

By contrast, Tottenham Conservative are fully contactable by email and have an up-to-date website - www.tottenhamconservatives.com - to help them keep in touch with party members and the public.
